Sunlight Services get all wrapped up!

Sunlight Services one of the UK ’s largest commercial laundry operators, has just placed 2 firm orders for Automatic Sleeve Wrappers with Shrinkwrap Machinery Ltd for their laundry sites at Brixton, South London and Wednesbury in the West Midlands.

Both Brixton and Wednesbury sites are large scale operations and rely on a consistently excellent performance from their equipment. The laundries operate a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week schedule. An average laundry wrapping machine would expect to clock up 3 million wraps per year; therefore new machinery installations have to be up to the job!

Sunlight is a regular and valued Shrinkwrap customer and has purchased sleeve wrapping machines from Shrinkwrap for over 20 years. John Brayford, a Director of Sunlight Services says; “we have Shrinkwrap Machinery Ltd’s wrappers in 9 operations across the UK and we are very pleased with their performance. They are truly solid and reliable machines which cope extremely well with heavy duty usage.”

The machinery supplied will be 2 fully automatic inline sleeve wrappers and shrink tunnels of the moving head machine variety (ASW-MH), constructed in mild steel, and capable of wrapping laundry packs at up to 35 per minute. Both machines are in stock and will be delivered and installed promptly by the Shrinkwrap team enabling Sunlight to maximise the benefits of this equipment as soon as possible from order.
