End of line packaging solutions for Eatwell UK Ltd Eatwell UK Ltd, a division of Anglo Beef Processors, have recently taken delivery of a high speed shrink wrapper and an automatic tray erecting and gluing machine, The machines were designed and built by British manufacturers, Shrinkwrap Packaging Systems, based in Dorset. The tray erector output is up to 30 trays per minute and is fitted with an HMI touch screen control providing the operator with a range of useful information and a fault finding system. The shrink wrap machine uses a moving seal gantry and a continual travel seal bed conveyor. Benefits of this system are that packs are sealed on the move increasing wrapping speed and because the seal bar comes down just behind the pack, minimal shrink film is used. The shrink tunnel recycles air wherever possible to ensure minimum heat loss and maximum efficiency.
