Shrinkwrap Machinery Co Ltd., has completed the installation of a Streampack Top Tray 750 machine into the Al Safi Danone dairy plant in Al Kharj, Saudi Arabia. The machine applies a plastic necking device to a format of 6 bottles of their popular Actimel Pro Biotic yoghurt drink. The pack can be shrink wrapped for protection or placed into a crate for transit. This particular style of pack is a new venture for Al Safi Danone.
The Top Tray machine is the original design of Shrinkwrap’s Design Manager, Jeremy Frith and operates at a speed of up to 320 bottles per minute. Manufactured entirely in stainless steel this machine is built to IP64 standards and features low friction, easy transfer conveyors, extended tray magazine in-feed with high speed separation and collates to the chosen format from a single feed, loading in a continuous stream.
The Top Tray machine can be supplied in a 1, 2, or 3 lane format, dependant on the needs of the customer and is designed and built on site at Shrinkwrap’s manufacturing facility in the UK.
